Description
The Butterfly Cloisonne Urn is decorated in shades of a mountain meadow: blue, pink, and teal with a hints of gold and umber. Colorful butterflies and leaves stand out against the dark background. This adult size urn is made using cloisonne, an ancient art form invented by the French and perfected by the Chinese.  Made from brass, copper, and colored enamel, cloisonne is crafted by hand and the finished item is fired in a kiln and gilded. As a result of this meticulous process, every cloisonne piece is a beautiful, durable and a unique work of art.
 
This cloisonne urn has a 200 cubic inch capacity and a sit-on-top lid. It is a lively design -- which may celebrate a life or honor a loved one with a love of nature.
