Journey Biodegradable Urn - Purple

The Journey Biodegradable Urn in Purple makes a statement of environmental responsibility as well as offering a lovely way to say farewell. This biodegradable cremation urn is meant to be placed in a body of water, then it will float, sink, and release the contents inside.

This biodegradable urn is made of mulberry bark and recycled paper. The color is a pretty shade of purple with a flecked texture. The mulberry bark that is used for this urn is sustainably-harvested, and no trees are destroyed.

The loved one’s cremated remains are placed into a water-soluble bag (included), then into the Journey Biodegradable Urn via a side opening. The side opening folds to close. A final paper wrap around the urn keeps it securely closed until it is ready to be placed in the water or earth. When the Journey Biodegradable Urn is placed in a lake or ocean, it will float briefly and then gracefully sink to the bottom. The hand-made paper will completely biodegrade over time.
