For a water burial, the Paper Turtle Biodegradable Urn can be a wonderful choice as it holds the ashes, floats, and then carries the ashes out into the ocean, sea or lake. This biodegradable urn—also called a green burial urn—is meant to be filled with the ashes of a loved one and then set adrift in a body of water where it will sink and biodegrade naturally.

This turtle-shaped urn is made of recycled paper, shaped by hand, and is meant to hold the ashes of a person who weighed 200 lbs. or less. The opening for ashes is located on the bottom of the turtle and should be sealed with non-toxic paper/wood glue (not included).
