Small Journey Biodegradable Urn - Purple

The Small Journey Biodegradable Urn in Purple can honor a loved one in a respectful, earth-friendly manner. This small biodegradable urn is designed to be filled with a portion of cremated remains and placed in a lake or ocean. It will float briefly and then sink gracefully to the bottom. After a period of time, as the paper is saturated, the cremation urn will release the ashes into the water.

How it works: A portion of the loved one’s ashes are placed in a water soluble bag (included) and then inserted into the side of the Small Journey Biodegradable Urn. The urn folds closed and is secured with a paper wrap until the family is ready for the water (or earth) burial. 

This smaller size Journey Urn is typically used when families wish to divide cremains or when the loved one’s wishes were to have a portion of his/her cremated remains scattered at a special place.

The purple-colored, organic paper of the urn has a flecked texture. Given that it is an individually-crafted piece, this small urn will show variation and may slightly differ in size, shape, and appearance from the image displayed.

 

Included with this biodegradable urn is a GEO-code that can be used to Geo Tag the final resting place of your loved one's remains if desired.
